I first met Kim after my first round of PRP shots for knee injuries. She got me running again—up to 10 miles. Then I overdid it on the courts, re‑injured both knees, and even a second round of PRP didn’t hold. I wanted to avoid surgery so Kim took me back to the basics—finding the root causes then rebuilding and strengthening from the ground up. Nine months later, I’m walking six miles, back to stairs and hills, playing pickleball again, trying padel, and starting to jog again. And note that I’m over 55 years old which makes all this more challenging. Her new facility is low‑key but professional, with top‑notch equipment and a great team vibe. If you’ve got an athletic injury and want lasting results, Kim and her team are the ones to see.

Ankita and Kim were incredible throughout my ACL and meniscus surgery recovery and return to sport journey. As a former high school athlete, it’s nice to now be in my mid-thirties and have the confidence back as well as the foundation to be smarter in my activities of choice — basketball, running, pickleball and going to the gym. I ended up having some patella tendon issues on my non-surgical knee and they helped get me right. They gave me exercises to incorporate into my gym days to help with that. True holistic care! I would come back for any injury concerns or flare ups. Thanks Lakás PT!

Very knowledgeable and helped improve my issue quickly. As other aches came up, we worked on those too. Scheduling was very easy especially around a hectic schedule.

This has been the best experience for me, you really get bang for your buck here. I had a torn quad from college soccer and was very desperate for 6-8 months before I found this place, I could barely walk and continue with my daily tasks without having to sit down every 30 minutes. My knees were in terrible shape to the point where I could barely walk and with 4 months of physical training I feel like a brand new person I HIGHLY recommend coming here if you want to feel at your best again.

My son is a hs cross country/track and field distance runner and injuries (hip tendonitis, fibula stress fracture) forced early ends to his frosh and soph seasons. We found Kim when she was just ramping up her business and so grateful we did! She tested him quantitatively on balance and strength gave him targeted exercises to correct the imbalances and improve overall strength, targeted towards running. She also did cupping and scar tissue massage. Her focus is not typical PT - the focus is on getting to peak performance. After strength and balance improved, she provided plyo exercises to improve explosiveness during the final stretch. Lots of improvement in junior and senior years, and no injuries. One note if you have a high schooler - Kim's program requires discipline and won't work without it. My son never followed through with any regular PT so we made a deal that he would have to repay me for any missed exercise days. Kim's personality is one that the kids want to listen and follow through and my son did for the most part. Highly highly recommend Lakas PT.
